Secure the switch body to a rigid structure near the crane jib head or drum, ensuring the trigger rope aligns with the hook’s movement direction.
Attach one end of the included steel wire rope to the switch’s trigger ring using the clip, and connect the other end to the hook block or drum’s limit stop.
Adjust the rope tension to ensure the switch activates accurately when the hook reaches its upper limit.
Follow your equipment’s electrical diagram strictly to ensure correct connection of the control circuit.
Inspect rope wear and switch sensitivity regularly, and perform a functional test every 3 months.
