Instructions
The specific meaning of crane fault code E02 varies depending on the crane model and control system. The core meanings applicable to mainstream XCMG, Zoomlion, and Sany cranes are as follows:
Core Meaning Classification
Zoomlion and other models (related to the hoisting mechanism): Indicates overcurrent during hoisting acceleration. During the acceleration process of hoisting, the circuit current exceeds the equipment's set threshold, usually accompanied by hoisting pauses, motor overheating, etc., mostly related to main circuit short circuits, abnormal motor parameters, and encoder malfunctions.
XCMG cranes (related to the load limiter): Indicates excessive working radius or insufficient boom angle. The boom radius exceeds the maximum range of the rated performance curve, or the boom angle is below the safe working angle, triggering a safety protection alarm from the load limiter.
Other special scenarios: In non-engineering machinery fields (such as servo drives, elevators), the meaning of E02 code differs, such as DC bus undervoltage, door lock disconnection, etc. These situations can be ignored in crane scenarios.
Additional Notes
During actual troubleshooting, it is necessary to determine the specific model: For XCMG cranes, prioritize checking the boom amplitude and angle; for models such as Zoomlion, focus on checking the current circuit of the hoisting mechanism.
